2014 CCHCBT Health Care Rates Update

The year 2013 has finally seen the beginning of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) open enrollment. Please know we offer two Gold and one Silver-level health plans without reduction to the size of our current medical provider network.

Health care rates will be increasing 7% on the Health Choice 500 plan, and 4% on the Health Choice 1000 and Health Savings Choice 2500 plans. These rate changes may be higher if your age category changed in 2013.

To request your specific rates, please email healthcare@pensionfund.org or contact us toll-free at 866.495.7322. If you wish to change your benefit plan for 2014, please notify us by Dec. 15, 2013.

If you are a Christian Church Health Care Benefit Trust (CCHCBT) participant in the Health Choice 500 or Health Choice 1000 plan, you are eligible to also participate in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). A FSA allows you to set aside pre-tax funds for non-covered medical and dental expenses (up to $2500) and, if applicable, funds for child care from your salary. The deadline to participate in the FSA program in 2014 is Dec. 15, 2013. If you are a current participant, you must complete a new enrollment form for 2014 as an IRS requirement.

We appreciate you being part of the CCHCBT family and choosing us for your health coverage needs. Your participation is part of our continued long-term strategy for continuing to provide health care coverage for all clergy and employees of the Stone -Campbell/Restoration Movement.

Additional information about the various health and dental plans available through CCHCBT can be obtained by contacting us at healthcare@pensionfund.org or 866.495.7322. Feel free to let us know if you have questions or if we can be helpful in enrolling additional staff members.
