Free Cybersecurity Webinar for Seniors: Learn How to Protect Yourself Online
Pension Fund of the Christian Church, Christian Church Foundation, and The National Benevolent Association are partnering to offer a free cybersecurity webinar designed specifically for older adults. Together, our ministries are committed to supporting the financial well-being and security of those who serve and support the Church, including helping individuals navigate the growing risks of today's digital world.
Online scams, phishing attempts, identity theft, and financial fraud are becoming increasingly sophisticated. To help participants better protect themselves, we have invited James Watson, partner at Ice Miller LLP, to share practical guidance on recognizing common threats, protecting personal information, and responding to potential cyber incidents.
During this educational webinar, participants will learn:
- How to identify common online scams and phishing attempts
- Best practices for protecting personal and financial information
- Ways to improve online security habits
- Steps to take if they suspect fraud or a cybersecurity breach
Submit Questions in Advance
To help address the topics most important to attendees, questions may be submitted in advance to president@pensionfund.org. While we cannot guarantee that every question will be addressed during the webinar, submitted questions will help shape the discussion.
