Pension Fund Announces Client Relations Team Organizational Changes

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Alexis Gammon has been promoted to serve as Vice President of Client Relations for the Indianapolis-based Pension Fund of the Christian Church. Alexis assumes leadership of Pension Fund’s team of Area Directors as Rev. Danny Gulden accepts the call as Lead Pastor at Geist Christian Church for the Promise Road Campus.

“Alexis was a natural choice for this role because of her success as an Area Director; her experience and knowledge of the church; and her proven ability to work collaboratively with our members, employers, and teams,” shared Emily Frische, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “We are excited to see her build upon the success and contributions of Danny, as she leads us in establishing new employer and member relationships throughout the entire Stone-Campbell family.”

Pension Fund is pleased to announce the addition of Rev. Matt Shears, who will assume responsibility for the majority of Alexis’ territory as Area Director beginning August 16. He comes to Pension Fund from Johnson University where he was the Director of Alumni Relations. Matt is an ordained Minister in the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ and has ministered with congregations in Indiana & Tennessee. Shears will be based in Knoxville, TN.

Matt’s understanding of the Stone-Campbell (Restoration) Movement coupled with his passion for Pension Fund will be a great asset in achieving our long-term growth plans,” stated Rev. Dr. Todd Adams, President and CEO.

As part of fine tuning our client support and development, Rev. Sarah Renfro will also serve Kentucky. Rev. Aaron Smith will serve Georgia and Alabama-Northwest Florida.
